What to see
The programme changes every year, but some ingredients always return: open-air concerts with national and local artists, theatre and dance shows, film seasons beneath the stars, exhibitions, craft markets and evenings of folk music.
The venues are often the city's landmark places: the seafront, the Rotonda, the squares of the Borgo Umbertino, the courtyards and spaces of the Old Town, and at times the Aragonese Castle, offering a unique backdrop for evening shows.
The atmosphere is that of southern summers: mild evenings, people in the streets until late, the scent of the sea and music accompanying the stroll.
