Accessibility statement

We are committed to making intaranto.it accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of ability or the technologies used to browse.

1. Our commitment

We believe tourist information should be usable by everyone. The site is therefore designed with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) in mind, aiming for AA conformance level.

2. Measures adopted

The following care was taken in building the site:

  • Semantic structure: correct use of headings, lists and landmarks to ease navigation with screen readers;
  • Colour contrast: colour combinations checked to ensure comfortable reading;
  • Keyboard navigation: all functions are reachable without using a mouse;
  • Alternative text: informative images carry a text description;
  • Responsive design: content adapts to screens of every size and can be enlarged without loss of functionality;
  • Plain language: texts are written in clear form, avoiding unnecessary jargon.

3. Non-accessible content

Some content may present accessibility limitations:

  • Interactive maps: maps embedded from external services may not be fully accessible. For every place we nonetheless provide text directions on how to reach it;
  • Third-party content: elements provided by external services are not under our direct control.

4. Information on the accessibility of places

Beyond the site's own accessibility, we are committed to providing useful information on the physical accessibility of the places described. Each page reports, where available, information on architectural barriers and dedicated services.

5. Reporting problems

If you have difficulty using the site or find non-accessible content, let us know: every report helps us improve.

You can write to info@desied.it indicating the page concerned and the type of difficulty encountered. We are committed to replying as quickly as possible.

6. Continuous improvement

Accessibility is a journey, not a destination. We review the site periodically to identify and correct any issues.
